MUSEUM OF MUSIC INSTRUMENTS (MIM):

Museum of Music Instruments (MIM) is a museum with a collection of 8000 vintage music instruments from all over the world, that we visited for free with the Brussels card. It is located inside the 7-storey Old England, a beautiful art nouveau building from 1899, situated next to Mont des Arts and Place Royale. Once inside you borrow an audio guide, and you can hear how the instrument sounds like by pointing towards it with the guide. It is interesting but only one floor is dedicated to the instrument, the other 6 floors are lobby, partly empty floors with information, installations and a café with views on the top floor.

The beautiful Old England art nouveau building and Coudenberg St, where the old Coudenberg Palace stood.

The old jugend elevator of Old England Bldg (MIM) is very special; it has open views to the floors and decorated doors, it's a bit shaky, almost a bit scary but fascinating.
