Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport

Sheremetyevo Airport is situated in the suburb Khimki 29 km NW of central Moscow. It is one of 3 major airports in Moscow and a central hub for Aeroflot. It is Russia's 2nd largest airport, after Domodoevo (also Moscow). The airport is very modern, well organized and clean. We visised Sheremetyevo twice to switch planes on the route from Copenhagen to Hong Kong, via Moscow, in March 2015. We travelled by the Russian airline Aeroflot.
