Moscow (from the plane)

Moscow is Russia's capital and Europe's largest city with a population of 12.2 million inhabitants in the city. On the flight from Copenhagen to Hong Kong in March 2015, we made a stop over in Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. It seemed to still be winter on the ground, the weater was a big contrast to Hong Kong; Moscow was sunny and cold, Hong Kong was hot and grey. From the Aeroflot plane I had the opportunity to take some pictures of the commie blocks and other areas in the outskirts and the brand new CBD from afar, where you find many of Europe's tallest buildings, and of Sheremetyevo, that is Russia's 2nd largest airport.

You can choose between two pages below; the city skyline seen from the plane or the airport.
