EL CAMPELLO

El Campello is a town and suburb to Alicante, part of Alicante commarca and province, with a large beach. Playa de San Juan in Alicante is bordering El Campello; it is actually hard to see where Alicante ends and El Campello begins. There is a busy marina, residential highrise buildings and some historical sites, like El Campello Tower. You can also find neighbourhoods with some of the most expensive private residences and mansions on Costa Blanca. We only drove through briefly, passed by it on the highway several times and saw it from Playa de San Juan, and the top of Santa Barbara Mountain in Alicante. Thus the pictures below doesn't do the city justice.
