Hong Kong Space Museum, Tsim Sha Tsui

Hong Kong Space Museum is situated on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), on Kowloon's harbourside. It is a museum of space science and astronomy with interactive exhititions, established in 1980. It is known for the egg-shaped dome structures that hosts a planetarium, situated between Salisbury Road, HK Museum of Art and the Cultural Centre. It is pretty small and not very impressive but it is still interesting and the entrance fee is free so it is definately worth a visit. The museum consists of two wings, the Hall of Space Science and the Hall of Astronomy. The Stanley Ho Space Theatre is situated beneath the dome. The museum features some space equipment from the growing Chinese spacecraft project.
