Riga - West of the city center
PANORAMA PLAZA, Z-TOWERS, AIRPORT AREA

This page is about West part of Riga, where you can find the international airport, as well as shopping malls, recently built highrises and wooden houses (charming but many of them pretty rundown).

Pictures from the airport, situated in the west part of Riga, can be seen here.

Z-Towers is a skyscraper complex under construction behind these traditional lowrise buildings.
Upon completion in 2015, these 2 towers will be 130m tall each and the tallest one will have 33 floors. They are designed by Helmut Jahn and will be connected with a skybridge on the top floor.
